Our R&D team conducts focused and purpose-driven research in identified areas. Our priority is to get effective vaccines into the hands of physicians around the world as quickly as possible. We seek to do this without compromising the quality and safety that we are known for. We have identified key focus areas based on our expertise and the healthcare needs of the developing world, which has the largest birth cohort.
Our research priorities include vaccines development for Chikungunya, rotavirus, malaria, liquid rabies and Staphylococcus Aureus. We continuously monitor emerging diseases and upgrade our research portfolio.
We are currently carrying out research on bio-antibiotics, combination probiotics, Lysostaphin, and recombinant Staphylokinase injection (THR-100). Research is also underway to create vaccines for Chikungunya, rotavirus, malaria, liquid rabies and Staphylococcus Aureus. We continuously monitor emerging diseases and upgrade our research portfolio to help patients in need.
To nurture academic excellence in universities and ensure that the new generation of talent has industry-relevant skills, Bharat works with academic institutions to deliver hands-on training to students. Hundreds of microbiology and biochemistry students have interned with us and benefited from project training. We also support the Biotech Industrial Training Program (BITP) offered by the Department of Biotechnology for industrial R&D training.
